Over Easter I visited The Playhouse in Derry, I found from Tactility Factory’s website that they had been commissioned for a piece of work for the entrance. I thought it would be a wasted opportunity not to go and see the work for myself as I live in the same city.
I really like the work which took up the full wall, I particularly liked the effect that the paint had, it looked like layers upon layers of old paint that had been there for years I’m really interested in the use of layers because for me it shows that there is history there.
